2020, the year when the human race was scratched and tormented by the sharp claws of the Covid Pandemic. Human lives were devastated and Industries were destroyed as an effect of the lockdown. Among many such sectors was also the Entertainment industry. The creators took online as the way to go but many were just showcasing their talent to entertain but with very little to no income. It is then that Eventizer came into being.

With the preliminary objective to provide an online ticketing facility, digital promotion, and other essential features Eventizer lets the artists showcase their art digitally and earn their very deserving respect and income. To take the initiative further Eventizer introduced The International Kolkata Short Film Festival, IKSFF, a hybrid festival to applaud and show respect to the talented and creative minds of independent Filmmakers for their splendid work on Short Films, Documentaries, Music Videos, and PSAs.

Just within the span of two years, IKSFF got a huge response and success under its belt. The first year saw a huge number of film submissions and the second year saw many eminent personalities getting associated with the festival. The third-year festival is just at the corner and the submission process is underway. This year and with every iteration, the success is expected to grow higher.
Within these 3 years of our journey, Eventize realized that the platform for Short films and their exposure is very confined and demands a dedicated arena to showcase the talent and creativity of independent filmmakers and open a door for generating income through it.
